Sunday Softball basic field setup rules

There will be two sets of games each game day; the first set will start at 5:00 p.m. and the second will start at 6:30.

Home teams at the 5:00 game are responsible for setting up the field.

Home teams at the 6:30 game are repsonsible for taking down the field and seeing the equipment is returned to a commissioner

The distance between the plate and first base (also 1st and 2nd, 2nd and 3rd, & 3rd and the plate) is 65 feet.

The distance between the plate and the pitchers mound is 46 feet. (note pitchers are not required to pitch from the mound just the vicinity of the mound)

The distance between the plate and second is 91 feet and 11 inches.

The double firstbase should be place on the foul line such that the white part is fair territory and the colored part in foul territory.

The cones (foul line markers should be place on the foul line about 50 feet past first and third base.
